Preparatory Talent classes

Located throughout France, the Prépas Talents classes prepare students for the competitive entrance exams to the grandes écoles of the civil service at public service schools, IPAGs (institutes for preparation in general administration), CPAGs (centres for preparation in general administration), universities or IEPs (institutes of political studies), competitive entrance exam preparation organisations, and so on. They train candidates for careers in the senior civil service.

The Prépas Talents programme is open to students with a baccalaureate + 3 years or more who wish to enter the public service. Applicants are selected on the basis of their qualifications, merit and financial resources. Priority is given to applicants who live and have attended school or university in priority neighbourhoods for urban policy (QPV), rural revitalisation zones (ZRR) or overseas collectivities.

The course is free and taught by professionals. During the course, each student benefits from :

enhanced support in the form of mentoring (trainee civil servants from public service schools or existing civil servants)
a €4,000 scholarship that can be combined with the scholarship based on social criteria. It is awarded automatically
accommodation or catering facilities

The training includes theoretical and methodological courses to prepare for the tests of one or more competitive entrance examinations to the civil service, as well as work placements in an administration.
