IAEs share with their students and graduates the desire to undertake and renew themselves. Far from being locked into their own prism, they cultivate their openness to the world. These caring managers pay particular attention to the social, societal and sustainable responsibility of their actions.

The network’s main missions

  • Support for IAE directors in carrying out their duties. Administrative managers and general secretaries also meet regularly to exchange information and best practice.
  • Provision of all information useful for the development and strategy of the schools.
  • Legal advice and assistance.
  • Organisation of meetings and exchanges: monthly general meeting, working committees, seminars, themed meetings.
  • Reflection group on the latest educational innovations.
  • Promoting management research at IAEs.
  • Development of joint international operations.
  • Network-wide partnership proposal.
  • Promotion of management training and research at IAEs in France and around the world.
  • Development of the IAE community and a sense of belonging.

“Did you know?

This network was created in 1957, alongside the first IAEs. Initially called the “Association Nationale des Institutions d’Administration des Entreprises” (National Association of Business Administration Institutions), the organisation was created to encourage exchanges between the directors of the schools. The association’s function then evolved to become an entity for coordinating and promoting the various French IAEs on a national and international scale.

In 2009, a new dynamic was put in place, with a real desire to animate the network internally and specific communication objectives. Launched in 2014, IAE FRANCE is the culmination of several years of reflection and is a benchmark for all IAEs, a real brand, a symbol of the IAE community.
