Registration / Re-registration

From application to enrolment at IAE NANCY, there are various stages to follow, depending on your profile. Knowing these stages means you can be sure of registering with complete peace of mind.

Administrative registration

Administrative registration is compulsory before the start of each academic year and must be validated before the start of classes. It enables you to pay the registration fees and obtain your student card.

Only administrative enrolment confers student status, allowing students to sit examinations and obtain a diploma. This is done once the application has been accepted.

Please note that it must be renewed every year.

Registration / re-registration dates

  • For first-time students (who have never enrolled at the Université de Lorraine): from the beginning of July 2026
  • For students re-registering (who have already been enrolled at the Université de Lorraine): possible from mid-June 2026.

Teleservice for processing informal appeals

You have received a decision from the Université de Lorraine concerning your enrolment, application, validation of prior learning or examination results and you wish to contest this decision by means of an informal appeal.

Here’s how it works:

This appeal – which is not subject to any time limit must nevertheless be sent within two months of notification if you then wish to be able to lodge a contentious appeal – should be sent, together with the contested decision, to the President of the Université de Lorraine via the teleservice for processing informal appeals, via the link :

Access the online service for handling informal appeals

In accordance with article L112-9 of the Code des relations entre le public et l’administration (Code of relations between the public and the administration), this teleservice is the only means of electronically notifying the Université de Lorraine of appeals against decisions concerning your enrolment, application, validation of prior learning or examination results.
