Training costs and funding

Course fees are made up of the national registration fees set annually by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and the fees specific to the course in question.

Initial training National rights 2025/2026

For European students in Initial Training, the registration fee is :

  • 178 (1st registration)
  • 118 (second registration: double degree)

To this must be added: A Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC), amounting to €105 in 2025/2026. This contribution must be paid by students not receiving a grant to cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr

  • 254 euros (1st registration)
  • 166 (second registration: double degree)

The Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC) has been introduced in all higher education establishments:

Art. L. 841-5. – I. – A contribution intended to encourage the reception and social, health, cultural and sporting support of students and to bolster the preventive and health education initiatives aimed at them is set up for the benefit of public higher education establishments, the establishments mentioned in articles L. 443-1 and L. 753-1 of this Code or article L. 1431-1 of the General Local Authorities Code providing initial higher education courses, private higher education establishments of general interest and the regional centres for university and school works.

Training under an apprenticeship contract

For students on apprenticeship contracts, registration fees and training costs are paid by the company hosting the student. However, students must pay the CVEC of 105 euros.

Professional training contract

For students on professional training contracts, the registration fees are paid by the employer. Students on professional training contracts are not subject to the CVEC.

Non-EU students – Differentiated enrolment fees

In France, tuition fees for international students from countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area are set at national level for all universities, but each university can define its own tuition fee exemption policy.

Non-EU students registering for the first time at the Université de Lorraine must pay the following registration fees each year:

General and professional bachelor’s degrees

  • 2895 euros (1st registration)
  • 1929 euros (second registration: double degree)

In addition, there is a Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC) of €105 in 2025/2026. This contribution must be paid to cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr

Master

  • 3941 euros (1st entry)
  • 2627 euros (second registration: double degree)

Continuing education – Prices 2025/2026

For our national diplomas, the cost of training is :

For contracts funded by companies, joint bodies and funding organisations

  • AES & Management (Years 1 & 2) = €5,300
  • AES (Year 3) = €5,900
  • Management (Year 3) = €6,600
  • Master’s Year 1 = €6,900
  • Master’s Year 2 = €6,900
  • Public Management (Master’s Years 1 & 2) = €7,320
  • Master’s Year 2 in Beverage Distribution Management = €9,000

For contracts funded directly by applicants

  • Licence 1 & 2 AES + Gestion = 1600 euros
  • Licence 3 AES = 2550 euros
  • Licence 3 Gestion = 3300 euros
  • Master 1 = 3300 euros
  • Master 2 = 3900 euros

In addition to this, there are registration fees amounting to:

  • €178 for a bachelor’s degree
  • €254 for a master’s degree

For contracts funded by companies, joint bodies and funding organisations

  • Master’s Year 1 = €6,900
  • Master’s Year 2 = €6,900

For contracts funded directly by applicants

  • Master’s 2 in Business Management and Administration = €4,500
  • Master’s 1 in Sector-Specific Management – Management of Health and Social Care Organisations = €3,300
  • Master’s 2 in Sector-Specific Management – Management of Health and Social Care Organisations = €4,300

In addition to this, there are registration fees amounting to:

  • €178 for a bachelor’s degree
  • €254 for a master’s degree
