Apply at IAE NANCY

Would you like to enrol on a course offered by IAE NANCY?

For French-speaking students and European Union nationals, applications to IAE Nancy are made via different national platforms depending on your entry level and the type of course you are aiming for.

STAGE 1: APPLICATION FORM

For entry into first year of a Bachelor’s degree in Economic and Social Administration or Management, applications are made exclusively via the national Parcoursup platform.
Applications must be completed directly online. The application campaign runs from January to April.

Submit your application via the Université de Lorraine’s eCandidat platform.
You will first need to create an account, then choose the course you want and submit your application online (CV, covering letter, transcripts, etc.).
The application periods vary from course to course, but generally run from March to June for all applicants, and from late August to early September for continuing education applicants.

Submit your application via the national MonMaster platform.
You will first need to create an account, then choose the course you want and submit your application online (CV, covering letter, transcripts, etc.).

You will be able to make a number of applications and follow the institutions’ feedback directly online. The campaign generally takes place between February and April, with a response phase in June.

STAGE 2: ELIGIBILITY

Once your application has been finalised, it will be analysed by the jury.

The panel assesses your application on the basis of your academic results and the quality of your career plan.

If your application is accepted, you will be notified on the eCandidat / MonMaster platform and you may be invited to an interview with the selection panel.

STAGE 3: ADMISSION

Following your interview, you will be notified by e-mail and on the eCandidat / MonMaster platform whether or not you have been admitted to the course.

You can then proceed with your administrative registration.

Foreign student: Applying outside an exchange programme

The following conditions do not apply to foreign students on university exchange programmes (ERASMUS+, bilateral agreements) at IAE NANCY.

Step 1: You must submit your application via the Études en France application(Campus France procedure).

Step 2: Once your application has been accepted by Campus France, you must check the registration conditions for your course of study on the Études en France website.

The IAE-Message Score measures candidates’ aptitudes in 4 fundamental areas for future managers. It is used to assess applications to university management courses.

In a nutshell:

  • Candidates take a single test to apply for several courses at several institutions.
  • Candidates may take the test several times.
  • The IAE-Message Scorecosts 42 euros.
  • They can take the tests at the centre of their choice (in France or abroad). The results are valid for 3 academic years.

The Score IAE-Message is not required for all IAE NANCY courses. It may be recommended or compulsory. Please check the course page to see if the score is required for the application.

Several sessions are offered each year in each approved centre. It is possible to take the exam at IAE Nancy.

Teleservice for processing informal appeals

You have received a decision from the Université de Lorraine concerning your enrolment, application, validation of prior learning or examination results and you wish to contest this decision by means of an informal appeal.

Here’s how it works:

This appeal – which is not subject to any time limit must nevertheless be sent within two months of notification if you then wish to be able to lodge a contentious appeal – should be sent, together with the contested decision, to the President of the Université de Lorraine via the teleservice for processing informal appeals, via the link :

In accordance with article L112-9 of the Code des relations entre le public et l’administration (Code of relations between the public and the administration), this teleservice is the only means of electronically notifying the Université de Lorraine of appeals against decisions concerning your enrolment, application, validation of prior learning or examination results.
