The programme includes finance, marketing, human resources, accounting and business English, as well as cross-disciplinary management subjects (languages, IT, quantitative techniques, etc.). The degree provides an introduction to the theoretical and technical tools needed to understand how companies and, more broadly, organisations work.

Several courses are offered in 3rd year:

  • Customised courses available from L2: Research (ORION – Dare to Research), Sustainable Development (Agiles), Entrepreneurship, Health, Top-level sportspeople, etc.

Objectives

The Bachelor’s degree in Management is a generalist course in the various areas of business management. Its main aim is to provide a methodical approach to management issues and the ability to communicate in foreign languages in everyday situations and in everyday professional situations.

English is taught every semester, with a clear focus on business English. Methodology is taught in the second semester of each programme, enabling students to study methodological analysis in management, analysing information and defining a problem.

  • To be able to observe, describe and assess how an organisation implements fundamental managerial principles.
  • Situate management decisions in their historical, geographical and cultural context.
  • Use the main concepts of organisational management to analyse accounting, finance, marketing, strategy, human resources management and information systems.
  • Analyse the interactions between an organisation and its environment.
  • Use quantitative methods and tools for observing and analysing the economy and organisations.
  • Use fundamental tools, methods and languages (quantitative and IT techniques) applied to the social sciences.

Further study after L2

From L2 onwards , the Management degree offers students the opportunity to choose pre-professional courses which foreshadow one of the 2 options available in L3, depending on their plans:

  • The ‘Accounting, Controlling and Auditing (ACA)’ course is designed for students who wish to go on to the corresponding Master’s degree in Accounting, Controlling and Auditing (ACA) and go on to become chartered accountants.
  • The “Management” pathway, with its 3 options, enables students to study one of the four main areas of management in greater depth, so that they can plan their studies more effectively or, where appropriate, enter the world of work directly:
    • Finance and Accounting
    • Human Resources
    • Marketing
