The aim of the “Consulting and Research Professions” Master’s in Management is to develop students’ ability to carry out research or provide study and consulting services by mastering scientific knowledge and methods.
It is closely linked to the specialised Masters (HRM, Finance, Marketing and Sales, etc.) and enables the students of each of these Masters to prepare for careers as researchers, researchers, consultants or high-level executives in the research departments of government departments, large companies, financial institutions, etc., and thus to acquire (depending on the teaching units chosen) a second Master’s degree, complementing the specialised Master’s degree.
TRAINING IN AND THROUGH RESEARCH
With this in mind, students admitted to the “Consulting and Research Professions” Master’s in Management will be confronted with practical, theoretical and applied research, through the analysis of work and the writing of research reports in seminars, and the completion of a dissertation in their chosen speciality. In some cases, they can take part in work carried out within the laboratory (CEREFIGE), a host team for management sciences with substantial resources at their disposal: documentary bases, databases, software, etc.
Students can obtain a double degree if they are also enrolled in an M2 specialising in management sciences. Students entering this Master’s programme after an M1 will follow the courses of the specialised Management Master’s programme they have chosen and will supplement it with additional specific training modules.
