Presentation

A university course in distribution and drinks created on the initiative of producers and drinks distribution companies to train their future employees. For 43 years, we have been training students in the drinks industry.

This BAC +3 course with an apprenticeship contract aims to train sales or logistics managers in the wholesale distribution of drinks for out-of-home consumption.

  • Free vocational training
  • Apprentice status paid at a minimum of 61% of the minimum wage per month (i.e. around €12,000 per year)
  • Assistance with double accommodation (300 euros per month for 8 months) subject to approval by the commission
  • State diploma with 3 years’ higher education (according to LMD standards)

This training course is offered in partnership with the Distech association, an association of the three CHD drinks distribution networks in France (C10, Distriboissons and France Boissons) as well as several manufacturers (Coca-Cola, Nestlé Waters, Orangina-Schweppes, Monin, Bacardi, Segafredo, etc.), which provides strong support for the profession as a whole.

Objectives

The course trains sales staff to advise and support their customers (brasseries, cafés, restaurants, etc.).We also train logistics professionals who manage supplies and stocks, optimise storage and delivery conditions and supervise delivery drivers, guaranteeing the best possible service.

This apprenticeship provides training in B2B sales and/or logistics.


Skills acquired
  • Use the methods and techniques of day-to-day organisational management to prepare and implement organisational decisions.
  • To be able to observe, describe and assess how an organisation implements fundamental managerial principles.
  • Use the main concepts of organisational management to analyse accounting, finance, marketing, strategy, human resources management and information systems.
  • Use economic and managerial decision-making methods.
  • Identify the functions of a public or private organisation and its relationships with all its stakeholders.

PACE OF TRAINING

The work-linked training programme places great emphasis on practical experience and includes 23 weeks of work experience in a company.

The 600 hours of classes are taught by teachers and professionals from the distribution sector. The courses focus on two areas: sales and logistics. The programme also includes the acquisition of knowledge in the fields of marketing management, finance and company law.

In an innovative and promising sector, with more than 800 companies operating nationwide, the diploma aims to train sales and logistics managers in the wholesale distribution of drinks. Professionals who advise and market the entire range of drinks to points of sale (cafés, restaurants, hotels, etc.) or manage the operation of a supply warehouse with a view to optimising service quality.

Conditions of admission

The DISTECH Professional Degree is aimed at :

  • students under the age of 30 ;
  • holders of a 2-year higher education diploma or a recognised equivalent diploma or holders of the baccalauréat ;
  • and have 3 years’ significant professional experience in the wholesale distribution of drinks.

The DISTECH Professional Bachelor’s degree is available as part of a Continuing Education programme, or as part of a Validation des Acquis de l’Expérience (VAE) or Validation des Acquis Professionnels et Personnels (VAPP) programme.

  • Candidates are selected on the basis of a portfolio and an individual interview with a panel of teachers and professionals.
  • Candidates who qualify after the interview will be granted final admission, provided that they have signed an apprenticeship contract with a drinks distribution company before the start of the academic year in September.

Registration fees

For European students undergoing initial training, registration fees for national diplomas are set annually by ministerial decree. In 2026, they will amount to :

  • 178 euros for a licence

There is also a Student and Campus Life Contribution of €105 in 2025/2026. This contribution must be paid by students not receiving a grant to cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr
