The Bachelor’s degree in Management offers the opportunity to acquire solid knowledge in the various fields of management and to develop real managerial know-how. The programme includes finance, marketing, human resources, accounting and business English, as well as cross-disciplinary management subjects (languages, IT, quantitative techniques, etc.). The degree provides an introduction to the theoretical and technical tools needed to understand how companies and, more broadly, organisations work.
Several courses are offered in 3rd year:
Management with 3 orientations in the different branches of management;
A student project, based on a real-life professional situation, to be carried out in a group,
CCA course: 1st stage of the university course leading to public accounting and auditing,
The opportunity to study for a semester or complete an internship abroad,
Customised courses available from L2: Research (ORION – Dare to Research), Sustainable Development (Agiles), Entrepreneurship, Health, Top-level sportspeople, etc.
A wide range of further studies in all areas of management.
Objectives
The Bachelor’s degree in Management is a generalist course in the various areas of business management. Its main aim is to provide a methodical approach to management issues and the ability to communicate in foreign languages in everyday situations and in everyday professional situations.
English is taught every semester, with a clear focus on business English. Methodology is taught in the second semester of each programme, enabling students to study methodological analysis in management, analysing information and defining a problem.

Use the methods and techniques of day-to-day organisational management to prepare and implement organisational decisions.
To be able to observe, describe and assess how an organisation implements fundamental managerial principles.
Situate management decisions in their historical, geographical and cultural context.
Use the main concepts of organisational management to analyse accounting, finance, marketing, strategy, human resources management and information systems.
Analyse the interactions between an organisation and its environment.
Use quantitative methods and tools for observing and analysing the economy and organisations.
Use fundamental tools, methods and languages (quantitative and IT techniques) applied to the social sciences.

Validation of the first year givesautomatic access to the second year of the Management degree.
From L2 onwards , the Management degree offers students the opportunity to choose pre-professional courses which foreshadow one of the 2 options available in L3, depending on their plans:
The ‘Accounting, Controlling and Auditing (ACA)’ course is designed for students who wish to go on to the corresponding Master’s degree in Accounting, Controlling and Auditing (ACA) and go on to become chartered accountants.
The “Management” pathway, with its 3 options, enables students to study one of the four main areas of management in greater depth, so that they can plan their studies more effectively or, where appropriate, find employment directly

What happens after the Management degree?
The various L3 courses lead to entry into specialised Masters in the various fields of management, with job prospects in private companies or public organisations. The ‘Controlling-Accounting-Auditing’ pathway leads more specifically to a master’s degree in CCA, and in particular to careers in chartered accountancy.

Conditions of admission
The course is open to students with a baccalaureate who wish to embark on at least a three-year course leading to a Bachelor’s degree. Certain conditions favour success in the Bachelor’s degree in Management:
Hold (or expect to hold) a baccalaureate or equivalent

The Bachelor’s degree in Management can be taken as part of a programme of continuing education or as part of a programme of validation of acquired experience (VAE).
Access by right for baccalaureate holders after registration.
Recruitment for the first year of a Bachelor’s degree is carried out via the PARCOURSUP platform.
How to apply
Registration for the 1st year of a Bachelor’s degree for future baccalaureate holders :
STEP 1: Pre-registration for university on the www.parcoursup.fr portal from mid-January to mid-March.

STEP 2: Once your application has been accepted, go to www.univ-lorraine.fr as soon as you have received your bac results to confirm your enrolment.
Registration fees
For European students undergoing initial training, registration fees for national diplomas are set annually by ministerial decree. In 2026, they will amount to :
